2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger, UAB, Švitrigailos g. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania). When you visit the site, data sent by your browser is processed automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page visited, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
3. Automatic language detection
To show you the website in your language, we determine your country from your IP address on your first visit. Your IP address is sent to the ipapi.co service (Kloudend, Inc., USA), which returns only a country code. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a user-friendly presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). When data is transferred to the USA, access by US authorities cannot be ruled out. The detected country is cached on our server for no more than 24 hours.
4. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary cookies:
- starvion_lang – stores your language choice (expires after 12 months)
- pll_language – stores the selected site language (expires after 12 months)
We do not use tracking or marketing cookies.
5. Google Fonts
This website uses fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the page loads, your browser connects to Google servers and your IP address is transmitted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are possible; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Hostinger Reach (email marketing)
A script from Hostinger Reach (Hostinger, UAB) is loaded on this website. If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address with this service to send it to you (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
7. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Buying on Amazon
Our products are sold through Amazon. If you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon’s privacy policy applies there (Amazon Europe Core S.à r.l., Luxembourg). We do not receive or process order or payment data through this website.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt); you may also contact the authority in your country of residence.
